Good evening gents. I have a 1999 Jeep xj with 4.0
I recently purchased a used edge trail jammer kit which has a CAI, a 62MM throttle body and a plug in electronic module.

MY XJ is currently 100% stock will running the CAI and 62MM throttle body incur me any issues?

 

You should be fine, if you want you could add a less restrictive exhaust system to see more benefits from the intake mods, as is you might not get the full potential from them.

 

62mm bored TB, 4 hole injectors, and good cat and muffler are nice! I have the first two done and exhaust is next. Both the injectors and bored TB where a nice upgrade (done at separate times too). Could feel the difference in the butt dyno.

For the CAI, I don't think it's worth it. At least not based on the reading I've done. It gets pretty hot under the hood of an XJ so you end up not pulling much "cold" air. I'd personally look at doing a cowl intake instead.
