Got my BBK 62mm Throttle Body installed with a 62mm hesco Spacer. After cussing Jeep for using loctite on all the bolts holding the sensors on, i finally got everything swapped over after ruining 3 T20 torx bits. I replaced all the small screws when putting sensors on new TB. Noticeable improvement off idle and at 3800-4200 rpm's. New bolts stripped out the aluminum on the intake, so i had to drill and re-tap them, but that didnt take long. Also running a Airaid intake.

Looks nice man. How much did this improve your get-up-and-go? Curious because mine's bone stock under the hood and I've been adding a lot of weight and body gear and need to get back up to speed so to speak. This looks like it would be a good option, possibly in conjunction with some neon injectors and a lifter torque-down to 19 ft/lb.

it doesnt lag in 1st gear like it used to, it will chew through and drop in to 2nd. not a butt clinching power, but noticeable.

Yeah your right, Its not hurting anything. But its not doing anything for you but looking purdy.
There has been enough guinea pigs that have done it, including myself. I didn't see no difference when I put it on or when I took it off.
I tried it on my setup,Spectre intake, 62mm jeepersandcreepers TB, 4hole injectors, banks headers high flow cat dynomax catback, no dif beside raising my TB up.

Pretty much like a painted valve cover. Doesn't do anything but look pretty. At any rate. if i ever decide to sell the jeep, its a "sale booster".

Yes I read about them here several years back and knew not to buy one but I do have a 62mm TB and 4 hole injectors.

I did it just to see for myself. My bud had one laying around and I thought hell give it a try. Didnt do ****, so I took it off. The 62mm TB along was good enough.
On a test of CAI with stock TB, the TOP 2 CAIs had the spacer. Spacer seemed to add 2-3HP.

155.6.199.8 Mopar cotton gauze $359 Heat shield, steel tube, TB spacer included
Conclusion-
-stock paper element and box housing sucks
-Open element on tube, NO heat shield, shows slight gain vs. stock, 'Hot Air Intake'
-added Heat shield, better, adds +1-2 rwhp
-TB spacer, on both top performers, adds +2-3 rwhp
-I Wish they tested stock intake and box housing with No element, K+N panel element, + cowl duct CAI tube mod
-I Wish they tested with 62mm TB

Engine: 4.0 ho 99 intake ps pump 1" tb spacer 62mm bored tb eletric fans and more
it seems to me that the 1" tb spacer helped my 99 intake and bored throttle body and neon injectors more with more off idle response increasing the air valume in the intake to draw from and also the flow into the intake its self.
but i could be wrong
