Hadnt seen that one, He on Ok Unibody? I have been speaking to Ronnie on there about his. came here looking for a write up but been unsuccessful. Harmon has the springs but they tell me they are 62" not 63" Shouldn't make much of a difference. but more info before i get it apart the better.
I talked to Ronny about his. He sent me pics of his mounts. He got his springs from Harmon too. There is another guy in the uni group from Okc that just did the 63" swap. His name is Jarod Martin

with the chevy springs the center pin is usually in the center. so, if you move the front leaf mounts way forward (like foxwar on naxja) you will have the shackles hanging out a bit but it's still manageable. I'm running chevy 56's. junk yard springs aren't crackin. my buddies clap out 63's all the time (on 1 tons). but they're cheap and they work for a year or 2 until you can afford to link it
center pins in the center of the leaf. I'll tell ya you're very right. departure angle sucks with shackles hanging off the bumper. but it's not the end of the world because if you're smart you run a super high clearance rear bumper to make up for it

What did you have to do to run the 56'' leafs? Did you move the front leaf spring brackets forward a few inches? I have hd relocation brackets and was thinking that they might work perfect if I just move the front brackets forward a couple inches
