Just curious how old they may be. Some 3" leaf packs need to settle before they are at what they say. Just some stuff to look at when you get home is all.
I was thinking about it and I let the rear end hang on the springs for a week or so too.....may be a slight contributing factor. I wasn't in any hurry to get it together until the trans went on my car

When I first did my aal, setup added to existing extended shackle, I got 5" of lift in the rear. Was worried at first but I'm liking it. I did need a TC drop
Hearing some noise from the rear when I get on the brakes....may not be related to the lift....but no real drive line noise yet...not sure how...I put a magnetic angle finder on the drive shaft and got 20 degrees....I know that is too much.

Do you feel vibration when you brake. Chances are you may be fine. I have an 01 so if an older xj wants to chime in. just make sure brake line has slack in the rear and relocate front ones and enjoy ride

Update: I loosened the rear springs and shackles, drove it for awhile. I think the rear springs are actually 4.5" because it sank to about 2" difference from front to rear. I dropped the transfer case and the vibration is gone. I am thinking about doing a 4.5" longarm in the front now...I have seen guys say they built it themselves, I think I'm gonna look into doing that
