It was good to hear this.....I'm at 5.25" of lift, also, and I have 33x12.50 Wranger MT/R Kevlars coming on the big brown truck today! I think I'll have to do some trimming, especially if I don't do a long arm conversion. My short arms pull the tire clear back at full droop and pust it into my bumper on compression. I think long arms would held with that part of it, besides the other benifits of LA.

I'll do that. Got my tires as expected, and they look awesome!! I'm getting wheels from a different place, and they havn't shipped yet, but hopefully I'll have them by this weekend.

I was set on 32x11.5x15 tires, but apparently there is not a MT/R or even a KM2 in that size in the whole country. And they don't know when more will be made. Goodyear's $80 rebate was coming to an end so I had to move so I got 33's and I don't think I'll regret it.

Sounds like you got a great deal! If you, or anyone else needs new tires, check out discounttiredirect.com , after the rebate, I got 33" Kevlars for $180 apiece shipped after the rebate. I have never found a better deal than thier advertised prices, and then they will knock more money off, too.

Well guys... change of plans...I came across a set of 35x12.50 BFG M/T's today for $150!!! Couldn't turn the deal down so I'm gonna try these out and see how I like the lift/tire setup. I will post pics & feedback when I have them put on.

Took some trimming to make them fit, and it will take more to be able to flex it out, but I think they look pretty good.

We used to run 33's on 4" of lift with minor trimming in the bottom of the wheel wells...

Looks awesome!

Yeah, my plan is 3-3.5 inches of lift and 35s, like to stay low enough to side hill without scaring the hell out of myself.

Yep 5.25" lift and 33x12.50x15 on 15x8 wheels with 3.5" backspacing. I did a little flexing and it looks like I won't have to do anything with the rear, I can leave the flares on and everything. Just have to do quite a bit more cutting to clear at full flex on the front.
