i dont know if this has already been posted or not here, i have a rolled '95 jeep grand cherokee ZJ that i'm going to yank the power train out of and transplant into my '88 jeep XJ (the engine still ran when we hit the deer and wasnt leaking anything on the grand cherokee after the roll over) i checked on novac's website and found the radiator i need, the swap headers, but i'm not sure which motor mounts to use, do i use the stock ones for the 4.0 that was in the xj? or do i use the 5.2 mounts from the zj? or do i need a set of custom mounts to do this swap, my last motor swap was shoe horning a chevy 4.3 and TH400 into another xj i built with my fathers help (lots of cutting and welding with that swap) and the engine went in easily with parts from novac and advanced adapters, i'm kinda wondering if thats going to be the case with this swap, or if i'm in for a nasty headache and a bad ride, the rig itself is lifted 4.5 inches with a rough country lift, coils in the front leafs and shackles in the back, eventually i'm going to swap the tires for a set of maxxis buckshot 32x11.50R15LT "longhorn" mud tires, but i want to get this motor swap out of the way before i start thinking about that, y'all helped me out alot with the heat issue i had before with the stock 4.0, and i was considering putting a 4.6 stroker in the jeep, then i found out that some strokers have a limited life and not good for dd, anyways, thanks guys, and sorry if this has already been posted someware else in the board
