Hey y'all... finally getting around to a 4x4 conversion. I know I need Tranny, transfer case, and front axle.

But, I need some specifics. Thus the reason I'm posting this. I'm running a 2001 sport. All the 4x4 conversion threads I have found were for Comanches or pre-97.

Just don't know what is compatible and what is not.

Specs: Chrysler 8.25, 3.55 gears with the AW4

What I would like: 4x4 (obviously! ). In all seriousness, the only thing I want done in the swap is the AX-15.

That being said... any point me in the right direction as to what I can use and from what years? Thanks!

97 and up ,tranny ,transfer case ,dana 30 hp front axle from a automatic xj so gear ratio matches you rear you have now,
front and rear drive shaft , pedal assembly,transfercase shifter and linkage,console 4x4 shifter bezel,ax15 shifter boots threres three,clutch master and slave, pilot bearing,fly wheel,pressure plater clutch disc,thro out bearing with fork,linkage bracket that attached to the floor board under neath for transfer linkage,all bolts that held all the above stuff on donor vechicle.i think thasts all

 

My price puts it right around 325-350
