It won't be in 4 wheel drive unless you shift the t-case to 4 wheel drive. But the axleshafts and front driveshaft will be turning all the time. Its like if you had locking hubs, just leaving them locked in all the time. Nothing like having a locker up front.
I did it to mine, its not bad. I still get good gas mileage, and it drives good on the road. I have no complaints.

 

That's what I thought but I had to ask. So once I engage the t-case, both front tires will turn unroll one loses traction and then just that one will, correct?
