$400 to install a Rough Country lift kit?

I'm in Orange County, CA. The Jeep has spent all it's years here in CA with no rust anywhere. Well, except for everything involving the cooling system which I overhauled when I got the Jeep a few months ago. I just realized I forgot to tell them about the new steering stabilizer..

You didnt say what kit you got with what parts and upgrades. I can tell you I charge more then that to do lifts, and I am not a shop. I just did a 2012 JK Rubicon 4dr lift and I charged 1000. Last xj I did I charged 750 for a 4.5 RC with leaf springs. I did a budget boost on a tj and I only charged 300 for that. All the above prices were roughly 50% of what a traditional shop quoted them.
I always guarantee my work too, I dont guarantee parts. The only thing my labor guarantee covers.. is the parts were installed according to the manufacturers recommendations and everything was/is tight when it leaves my garage. Also means everything was loc-tighted, and you will hate me when you go to change anything I installed

Keep in mind that if I am working on someone elses rig.. I am not working on mine. Also if I am working on someone elses rig it means I am not at work making my Normal OT wage. AT just shy of 40 bucks an hr on time and a half, it has to be made worth my time to actually do work... keep in mind I drive a big fork truck for a living.

go do it, especially in orange county thats cheap. you can do it in a day if you know exactly how to do it and your used to working on your jeep semi daily
