if you play on the rocks get a 8" wide rim or your gonna be rubbing your rims on everything. Other than that it sounds like a good plan 4.88's is pretty tall Im already at 2750 going 70 so 4.88's will be even higher

Your going to need to do quite a bit of trimming and wheel spacers to accomodate those 35's. I just bought the 6.5" RC lift and I have to trim a bit if I want to run 35's

Hey ah Im looking upgradeing to 35 and cant figure out if i should go with 4.56 or 4.88 gears. what kind of mpg are you getting with the 4.88? thanks

My Cherokee isn't my DD so I don't do lots of highway driving and I usually go wheeling a couple of times a week so maybe 25-35% of my miles are on trails and in 4 WD high and low ranges, so for me 10-13.6 MPG is pretty good.
The best I've gotten with 4.88s and 35s was 15.3, but that was all on pavement driving with maybe 50% on the highway. ( Also I don't drive over 65 MPH in a lifted rig running 35 inch tires. )
