So I'm looking at a 97 cherokee that they built into a 4.6 stroker has a factory 5 speed and factory axles lifted. Stock gears. Guy says it needs a new ecu to pass smog. But runs great. Has upgraded clutch and all that jazz. Anyone have any advice for getting into a stroker? And where can I get the ecu. I assume he means I need a programmed one?
