You could get 3"aal and 1.5" shackle or 4.5" leaf pack. Lower control arms, brake lines, adj trac bar, take sway bar off or get quick discos, tcase drop or sye or maybe nothing. Think that's about it.

that mostly correct although it doesnt have to be from another make of truck. you just use leafs of the same width and cut them down and mix them with the leafs you got. so you can use leafs from another cherokee. but theres no science to this madness its a mix and match cut put together, install and see. then add or take away as needed until you achive what your looking for.

Poly pucks plus 4.5" springs will give you more than 4.5" of lift. How big are the pucks? I only ask because most pucks are 2" so you are looking at 6.5" of lift. You may want to ditch the pucks bc at 6.5" your looking at dropping a lot more money than of you just went with 4.5"

when i first lifted my 99 cherokee i ran 4.5 coils, stock arms, stock trackbar, relocated the brake lines, ran 2 inch aal and 2.5 inch block. i drove it daily like that for years and wheeled the hell out of that jeep with no issues. i also had 1`inch t-case drop. i probably had 400-450 dollars in that set up
on the 97 i have 3 inch coils, 2 inch pucks, 2.5 leafs, 2 inch block, Rubicon adjustable flex lowers, bds adjustable uppers, iro double shear trackbar, rough country drop brackets, extended brake hoses, quick discos, and rustys 1 inch drp trans crossmember. i probably have 1000 or more in this setup
alot of people will say you have to change the arms and trackbar at 4.5. i never had an issue on my 99.
my 97 just gets more pampered and the suspension really does work alot better on the 97.

ok i have not up dated this for a while. but i got add a leafs for the rear.i am going to go ahead a install everything this weekend.i am going to get lca's,track bar, quick disco's and a transfer case drop.trasfer case drop is ordered.everything else will have to wait til febuary..i am going to see how the brake lines look but i will prolly get the yj or whatever(cant remember what ones)it said in the junkyard build tread.but new of course.i will not be doing any hardcore wheeling.maybe none til febuary.i should be ok right?
i would wait but i dont want to put it all on when its -10 out with no heated work space.and i am getting new tires from the ol' lady for x mas...i hope every thing will be ok....

yes i know it will ride like crap.but it is my daily driver so i have to go one step at a time.what would be the main thing making it ride like crap? so i know what to replace first.again i am not using the spacer so it will only be 3 inchs of lift..

Oh only 3"? Sheesh. Youll be ok. First on the list will be a tcase drop to get rid of vibes. After that you should be ok for a while. When you go up to 4.5" though you will definantly need the lcas and trac bar and you should then be ok.
