4.5 inch lift on stock 29's
so I just got my rc 4.5 lift and I basically spent all my money getting it (im a high school student) I plan on getting 33s when I save some money, I really want to put it on, but I want to see how it looks 4.5 inch lift on 29s so If you have any pics I would like to see them. And also would I be fine running 29s for a couple of weeks, would I have any problems with my drive shaft or brake lines? its my dd. thanks guys!

It will look like this. It's the re 3.5" kit but sits a little higher than 4.5". It's a little odd but I rocked it for 6 months till I could afford tires. Ahh the college life haha. You will probably need longer brake lines if you plan on wheeling it. You should be able to get stock yj front lines for the front and Dakota rear lines. A sye is also recommended but a t-case drop will get you by for a short time. One of which will be needed sine it's almost a guarantee that you will get driveshaft vibrations sice you have a 00 xj.
Glad to see another NC jeep. I'm right down the road in Angier

For 4.5" lift (expect at least 5") you Must replace the rear soft brake line.
The e-brake cables will also need to be lengthened or removed.
Will also need Front brake lines. Moving the bracket like on 3" lifts, will not be enough the allow the suspension to droop.
Expect addressing driveline issues.
Expect a harsh ride on short arms without drop brackets.
Expect it to steer and handle very differently.
Most of all expect to have fun!

Expect it to need an SYE also to rid yourself of all those vibrations along with Adj. U/LCA's before you do tires, or maybe before you even drive it much.
Did you study the list of all the things that is needed for a lift of that size and how much more it costs over a 3" lift?? You might want to reconsider if money is a real problem and the things that may come up.
