4.5 with 35s?
Could I put 35s on a 4.5 inch lift? If so about how much trimming would have to be done? If anybody has pictures of this it would give me an idea of what would have to be done to make that happen.

It's easily doable. You will need to both trim and bumpstop. Do the cut and fold in the rear along with bump stops. Then cut what u want in the front and then bump stop the rest. Good luck.

Recently asked the same questions. It's done a lot and the guys on here were pretty helpful. Do a search and you should find some along with looking at the Tire and Lift setup thread in Cherokee Chat. Also, check out my build. Thats the setup I'm currently running.

heres a pic of a recent xj me and a friend slopped together. 3" spacers and 35's and 3 link. It was amazingly stable and I'm definitely lowering my lift for my 35's
we were still stuffing the rear tires (cut just at the pinch seem) you will need to bumpstop as needed. 4.5" is totally do-able

Is it me or is this same question asked once a week? Yes, bumpstop and cut accordingly. I had to use 4" of bumpstop and a lot of cutting to clear.

Yes the same questions will always get asked again. As long standing members, we should just give them an awnser or point them in the right direction and move on. We were new once before also.
As for you OP, Yes its doable from what youve seen in the last few pics.

I understand I should re gear my axles when upgrading to 35s but I may not be able to afford to do that right away. Is it ok to drive around in stock gearing on 35s for a little bit until I get the money to do that? I understand that it will not perform like a stock jeep without being re geared but I may not be able to do it right away.

You need to be able to regear when you go to 35's. save all the parts up and do it at once.
You're about to see a bunch of people chime in and they they run 35's with their stock gears up the side of mountains everyday and it's just fine.
They're full of ****.
Your transmission will suffer from 35's and stock gears.
Do it once, do it right.
