Hi,
Sorry for my English, it's not the best. I'm from Poland. I have a problem with my Jeep. The engine is not running properly on gasoline. The engine fires up but it doesn't go beyond 3 thousand revs. When the throttle is open, the engine chokes and dies. Sometimes it fire in the intake manifold. Ignition loss is heard. In addition, the engine is alternatively powered by LPG and in this case this problem does not occur.
When the throttle is open by a few degrees, the engine does not hold constant revs but wavers there is a rev limiting effect.
I have prepared some videos on which you can see how the engine works.
What I have already done? I have:
- Replaced injectors with Bosch 0280155746 (there is the same effect on the original ones).
- Replaced ECU
- Checked vacuums
- Cut off EGR
- Replaced injector harness, the old one was cracked
- New ignition cluster / ignition cluster finger / spark plugs
- New fuel pump
- Pressure as shown in the video about 2.6 bar with vacuum connected and almost 3 without vacuum (Manometer may not be accurate)
- Adjusted TPS sensor
Below are the links to the videos:
Engine running on gasoline: Engine running on LPG: Fuel pressure indication on the injection rail:
I'm asking for your help because my ideas are running out.

I wish I could see how that dual fuel system works.
It likely is a Renix issue.
What year is the Cherokee?

I know almost nothing about dual fuel conversions and not much about pre 96 XJs but a question;
How ( electronics, controls)is the gasoline fuel system ( Injectors, fuel pump ,etc)shut down when it's in the LP mode? Just wondering if something in that system is misbehaving.
