Well of course, that would be nice. But not a neccesity. Properly geared 44/60 or something like that will do. The rest is up to the owners discression.

yeah but I like the lockouts and if you're running 37's you're running lockers.
and new suspension as in linked front and military wrap leafs out back.

My brother runs 35s on his XJ with 3.55s and has no problems and I ran 35s and 34s on both my 85s with no problems are 37s really that different?

as mentioned before, you'll need to swap the rear, beef the front, and regear
bare minimum you could probably do 8.8 rear and leave the front end open and be ok on 37's with 4.88 gears

I run 4.56 gears with 36s and wish I had 4.88s if that says anything.
