33x12.5r15 on stock wheels

33x12.5r15 on stock wheels
I have a 1999 xj with 5 inches of lift with 30s at the moment because I just added the lift. I was wondering if I could fit 33s on my stock 5 Star rim (like the Jurassic park rims) off of a wrangler. It would just be for a couple weeks until I could get some steel wheels off of the internet. With no off-roading and occasional road driving. So my question is... could I do it? And how bad would I rub?

Do you have tires on it now? If it will only be a couple of weeks before you can get wheels then I would wait until you get the wheels that way you don't have to mount and balance the tires twice. As far as them fitting you will likely have some rubbing issues on the front control arms and maybe the swaybar, the rear tires will be pretty close to the leaf springs as well.
