I'm running 33x12.5s on 3" lift with trimming and NO bumpstops and I rub when almost at full lock. I've had my jeep teetering on the front pass wheel and the rear drivers wheel and thats the ONLY time I've ever had the tires touch the body while flexing.

I had to cut my fenders pretty good to make my 33x12.5's not rub on my 4.5" lift fully flexed. I run without swaybars though.

you gotta make sure your rims have enough back spacing for those too. my 265 75s used to rub the inner wheel well a little if i turned to hard.
just something to think about

I ran 3" in the back for a while with no trimming without issues rubbed at full flex. Ended up beating the fenders in to clear. I always just ran a spacer in the front and bumped it up to 4.5"

Definitely agree... My buddy has 20+ pucks he has offered to let me use I just haven't had the time between maintenance on 3 jeeps and a motor swap on a 4th.

3 in lift on 33's with a Dana 30/35

I have a few questions regarding this subject. Please feel free to redirect me if the answer is on this site already, because I have not yet found it.

1) What is the ideal back spacing for 33x12.5x15 with a 3 inch lift?
2) How would a stock Dana 35 hold up to tires this size (and width) for moderate wheeling?
3) Would a 3:55 gear ratio cut it for tires this size. If not, what would be the ideal ratio for tires this size (4.56 maybe)?

Thank you for your patience. I am new to the XJ world.
