Still working on mine but even with the wheels tucked inside the fender wells I can set my front wheel on a 37in tire now. Pretty good for short arms. And more than ample for what I do. Flex is great but there is a point where you lose stability.
Lot of water, mud and sand. No rocks around here. Besides and not many (if any) experience with long arms. I just want to build a better rig, not be the tallest/extreme in the block :-)

Just to clarify: my doubts were about how bumpstops work, not about your FAQs. I've learned a lot reading it.

Ktmracer419 had one of the best bump stop suspension threads I have read. Really opened my eyes up to a trucks potential and advantage when you keep it low and still have the ability to flex. My current suspension works very good based off his tips.

That was a while ago. His head is a bit larger now

I kid, I kid!

This? : https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/low...ks-tips-32980/

Reading it I learned about LCOG and its importance, among other things. But so many concepts for a guy with just one year wheeling. My doubts were about how bumpstops works, not about ktmracer419's knowledge.

Seriously, running with 11.50 is a good idea with the 3" lift. You won't have to trim near as much.
hey sorry for askin... sorry not everyone can jump into a 3 link and a four link with 8 inches of lift and 37s. im a family man so my budget probly isn't the same as urs "no need to be sarcastic it was a simple question" if makin fun of ppl for not havin a hooked up rig like urs is fun than i say ur ur into jeepin for the wrong reasons jeepin isn't a competition to me im into it to enjoy it not be a ***** and act like a bigger lift and tires makes u the f-in man and all us 3inch xjs are just so privelaged to have you on this site

Good one though...
Yep, post count is everything. That's how you tell how intelligent people are. Come to think of it, I could have posted all these replies individually instead of using this handy dandy multi-quote tool.

lol, A lil late there bud but I'll respond anyways.

First, I'm one broke bastard. It's taken me 8 years to build this "hooked up rig" and it's still no where near where I want it.

Second, I don't have 8 inches of lift. That's just silly.

Third, I'm not sure why you think I'm making fun of you... There's nothing wrong with a Jeep on 32's. Hell, I drive a Jeep on 31's every single day. I gave you an answer to your question. Did you read it?

Edit: Third and a half, For every sarcastic/smartass remark I've posted I can assure you that I've given my wholehearted 'as experienced as possible' tech advice right behind it. For free advice... I can give folks a hard time if I want to. Calm down buddy, this is the internet.

Forth, did you actually look around before you asked the same question that has been asked a million times? You're lucky everyone didn't reply with "Search...". You ACTUALLY got an answer after everyone finished giving me a hard time. There's nothing wrong with asking questions but make an effort to find the answer for yourself first.

Finally, I think your keyboard may be broken.
