LOL I'd expect that from you. I do a lot of highway driving and some off off-roading. I have a set on my work truck (05 F250 4x4 w/ 33x12.50) and have 30,000 on em and plenty of tread left. That's one of the major reasons I chose em.

Ya i've heard good things but still have mixed feelings. They are about 100 bucks cheaper for a set than brand new tires though.

Dont be scared...consider the price and all the good reviews. Like i said check Craigslist too. I just landed a set of BFG km2s with well over half tread for 400 bucks.

Craigslist is a big gamble though. I bought tires with brand new tread for 425, but they had sat and developed a flat spot so I just sold them and took a loss.

I have enough money for new tires so I want to go that route now.

Personally ive spend countless hrs reading about all terrain and mud tires. If you want something with really agressive tread, a decent life, and all around performance, go with the BFG Km2s

I'm a tire center manager at Costco. I have tested a lot of tires. Why are you going with AT tires if you do very little off road driving? There are better highway tires that can also handle occasional off roaring that will give you better fuel efficiency and ride comfort than AT tires. If you just want the look of a mean tire but good highway performer then check out the BFG rugged trails.
