If you decide to build on the 3" platform later you can add spacers and a shackle to get more height and youll still be in good shape.. Youll need arms with anything over about 3.5" (just lowers...you wont NEED uppers). At 3 inches all you really need is coils, shocks, and leafs. 3" is a decent starting platform for a dd/weekend warrior.

I just put a 3" high country lift on my xj plus a set of 33x12.50. Now it has a horrible wobble at 45mph and 70mph. Any thoughts?

Rough Country, Tuff country, im suprised there isnt a high country...regardless they are the same. Short leaves...leads to basically no rear articulation, GOD awful shocks...just a cheaper kit. I ran RC..never broke anything but it really rode **** poor, and I had such limited rear flex...If you decide to put more into it later you can invest in relocation boxes for your shakles, and invest in some decent control arms and better shocks. As far as the wobble, id suspect your trac bar, or your TRE's

I set the lift up for a lot of droop. So don't know if this will apply to you?
