Im running a 3" rough country (add a leaf) and new procomp shocks in the front. Is there any possible way to use anything on the 3" kit to upgrade to a larger lift that can save me some money. I at least want a 4.5 or higher

Yeah you can leave that kit on and add shackles in the rear and spacers in the front.Originally Posted by Joe'sXJ

And longer shocks
And brake lines
And an SYE (don't forget the driveshaft)
And an adjustable trackbar
And longer swaybar links/quick-disconnects
And adjustable control arms (uppers and lowers) if you want to maintain the correct wheelbase and pinion/caster angles....
It's never as easy as just throwing a couple shackles and coil spacers under your rig.

unless you are only going from stock to 2" max. then a spacer and shackle will work just fine. 99% of the time that is. there's going to be that one person that'll get vibes and blame us.Originally Posted by SeriousOffroad

To get to the height he wants its that easy. Getting drivable again is the hard part.Originally Posted by SeriousOffroad

Thanks for the feedback, i guess digging into the checkbook and spending the extra buck is going better off

If you can spend the cash man, just get a new kit- you will probably do it in the future when your AAL gives out and sags anyways. Im not sure which RC kit you got but most of it is probably going to be wasted/worn out/not able to be used
This is the cheapest 4.5 with full springs etc that I know about

Check out the link in my signature for more ideas if you choose to go that route. I know serious is having some lifts on sale for black Friday as well.
I have bought plenty of temp parts/parts I was not happy with only to replace them later. I end up trading them away for next to nothing and certainly not what I put into them (for example traded a 300 dollar Rustys steering kit for a box of 30-06 and some energy drinks to a guy on this forum) That is my opinion anyways.
