i just put on a 3 inch lift, does anyone know how much longer the front sway bar links are supposed to be? is there a specific length? im making my own thats why i dont just go out and buy the ones that say "for a 3 inch lift"
This is going to sound red neck as all hell but it works. Took my stock link and a bolt the length of the lifts height. Cut off the head and put a 30 degree bevel. Then welded it to the stock link. I knew I was going with more lift soon and didn't want to spend to much time or money on it. If it would have been more permanent I would have put a small "one inch or so" bolt on the sway bar with a keeper nut. Drilled a hole in the bolt and one in the top of the link and got a sleeve at TSC or Home Depo. Drilled a hole in each end after cutting it the length of the lifts height. To make a sway bar disconnect using some farmer pins. Hard to explain hope you get it.

What is better... 3" with 18" rims or 4" with 18" rims? I don't want to make my jeep look high. Just wanna enhance the look of it.

I like the look of rim and less rubber. They look like huge snow tubes on rims! Can't take all that sidewall. Used to 20's and 24's. That why it has been a year of debating.
get some with some tread on the sidewall! and put the white lettering facing out. I have to agree w the 15" rim comment. big rims don't belong off road, you don't want to have it look like a Cadillac Escalade and the big gangster rims will be MUCH more easily easier to damaged should you hit an obstacle hard.
