I pieced together my 3.5" Rubicon Express lift with Bilstein 5100's for less than $700
I bought the coils, leafs, u bolts, tracbar , got extended brake lines for free, reused my aftermarket LCA's .
Look into building a kit yourself you can usually get better parts the the price of a lesser quality kit

If you are just going to get that, call RC and tell them you are a member of this forum and they will give you a 10% discount. That's how I got mine. I got them to replace my stock suspension cuz the originals were shot when I bought it. It's my DD, rides a little stiff but no biggie.

Especially when moving you hole over 3/4 of an inch will center your axle fine and keep you from dogwalking.
Most people start on a tight budget and that is just 100-200 bucks spent on something else.
Any higher than 3in and i would def purchase and adj trackbar.
But it is not a must at that height.

I'm a little confused on the drop control arms in the RC lift kit. Keep in mind, this is my first 4x4 with this type of suspension. I'm guessing the term "drop" implies that it is designed to give something that has been moved to a new position, proper alignment. I noticed it only comes with lower control arms. Do you leave the uppers stock and just replace the bushings?
Oh.....and I checked the RC website and the only 2 3" lift kits they offer for my XJ are add-a-leaf type. Since my rear springs are sagging and need to be replaced, I'll be going with the one I posted above.

You may need to relocate you track bar I did but then again I also went with a 1" puck too. Don't be afraid of breaking bolts your upper shock bolts will mostlikely bust off. I got 3 out of 4 out without breaking but my buddy broke all his off. Lots of PB.
