Great lift kit though. I'm running the same springs & control arms on my XJ. Love the way it rides and flexes, and the Jeep looks mean on 31's with the little extra height over a standard 3" lift. You could probably run 32's on it with some fender trimming or longer bumpstops too.

Also, definitely buy any RE parts from Serious Offroad. Best prices on their parts by far & Frank's customer service can't be beat.
That's what i did. Running the same kit. I just added a very small spacer to level the front as well as an Adjustable track bar and sye. So basically im sitting at 4" lift just did a bit of trimming running 32s no problems. Works for me

i lifted my jeep my freshman year at college, and i went with the RC 3" w/ aal from morris 4x4...i think i paid 240$ w/ shipping. I fit 31's fine, didnt ride bad at all. It was fine w/ stock control arms, too. I used hockey pucks in my coils as extended stops, and saved money for a decent pair of tires and wheels. I ran it like that for several years before i bought full leaf packs, but it might have sagged .25" over those years, and I hauled alot of heavy stuff. Granted, it is not the best lift out there and it comes with only the necessities, but as a poor college kid, it worked out really good for me in the long run...

I believe the video in my signature is from one of my first trips with the lift lots learned from it....

I should mention I'm also running an adjustable track bar and SYE with my RE 3.5" lift. I didn't feel comfortable drilling out the axle side track bar mounting hole as RE says to do in the instructions, it wouldn't have left a lot of metal to support the bolt. Plus, with 150k on my original track bar I felt it was just due for replacement. I did run the stock track bar with a drop bracket for a couple months and it worked OK as a temporary solution.

I don't know if the SYE was a necessity or not, as I had a vibration that ended up being caused by something else and I installed the SYE hoping to fix it. But I'm glad I have it anyway.

Just a little cut and fold, don't forget proper bump stops.
