My wifes trail rig had no rockers when I bought it. All I can say is burning them in sucks favor the 2x6, but they take a beating.

If you look around a bit there's been a few people to show how they did it in detail on here

Very easy to do.

I used 3x5 for a bit more strength.

First off cut the rockers at the seams like such.

Then put the 3x5 in the spot where you removed the rocker. If you use a 3x5 its a perfect fit to the bottom pinch weld seam and the top.

tack it in. I ground out the pinch weld holes and re-welded to the new rocker. '
then I welded it solid for extra strength.

All finished and painted.

What is not pictured is the bottom seam. It is spot welded and welded as the upper seam. the 3x5 fits perfectly in both the upper and lower seams. This is why its so strong..

Okay, I may need to rethink something, I need options, because my rockers and pinch seam are both ****ed, I'll take a picture in a minute, I am trying to get opinions I am plating the unibody, trying to figure out rocker/sliders and possibly caging it, in the next few months
