Default 242 hack and tap

242 hack and tap any one ever use this yoke instead of the flange with older 242 cases. That have the 3 bolt rear cones.....

I went with the yoke on my 1992 242. Worked great!

Yes. The 3 hole flange replaces the tailcone that gets removed from the 242. There is a seal that you press into the flange and the yoke sticks out from there.

Seem no one ever clearly stated the correct seal number to do this mod. Its Timken 1038. Its from a 1990 Subaru loyal with a 1.8..http://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo....270055&jsn=446
