242 to 231

242 to 231
My 99 cherokee has the factory 242 and i recently installed a 8.25 and want to put a 231 in a 99 XJ at the junk yard has a 99 XJ with a 231 would it be a direct swap cause i want to do a SYE on the 231 and my 242 chain is stretched and ive searched but couldnt get a direct answer.
