231/242 vacuum switch swap

231/242 vacuum switch swap
I've swapped tcases between my two xj's, I put the 231 in the xj I'm keeping & the 242 in the one soon to be sold. I don't really care if the 4wd dash light comes on. But can i swap the two switches?
I looked the vacuum disconnect in the xj with the 242 & the xj I'm keeping with the 231 has a non vacuum disco D30.
