-22 or -48 wheel offset?
Im wondering if -48 will be too much for my XJ. I want my tires to stick out of the fenders a bit, but I dont want anything crazy. My options are 15x8 with -22 and 15x10 with -48. What do you guys think?

We normally deal with backspacing on this site, not offset. -22mm on an 8" rim gives you about 3.9" backspacing. The most common i'd say is 3.75" backspacing. The stock wheels are 7" wide with 5.75" backspacing.
What tires are you running? Not many fit on a 10" wide rim.

Ok, so the wheels have a backspace of 3.625 (both of them, the -22 and -48). I am going to upgrade from stock tires and get some 31s, either Toyo Open Countries or BFG, haven't decided on that either.
