ok, for starters im terrible when it comes to electrical problems. the led cluster lights were installed before i purchased the jeep so i dont know much about them. i was muddin the other day when the dimmer switch that was saudered to two wires hanging down came loose. when the wires would touch back the led cluster lights would flicker finally it came completely off so the lights stopped working all togeather accept for the needles still lit up. when i got back to the house i saudered the dimmer **** back on but still no lights #6 fuse in the kick panel was fine and put a volt meter to the dimmer and its hot. any suggestions im stumped?
dont know how to delete this but i got it figured out it is a bad dimmer switch
yes they are aftermarket and the guy who did it before me had it wired kinda weird he didnt have it on the oem dimmer but the oem dimmer **** turned them on and it had a seperate dimmer to control the leds with. ill put some pics up soon as i get my camera back.
