Did a 2" lift on my 98. Used Emu springs (not AAL) in rear and Daystar 2" spacers up front. Didn't want to go higher than 2" due to driveline vibration issues. Sourced all the parts at 4wheelparts.com
However, you may want to read a post I submitted tonight asking for help with issues on my lift. The issues I experience don't make any sense to me, but I thought I'd point you that way as food for thought. My thread is New springs. Now loud clunk.

Get poly spacers for the front. They don't compress, crack or wear out and are cheap.
If you simply get a 2" Drop shackle, your ride height will increase by the 2" but your worn out leafs are still gonna continue to sag and bounce you around.
An AAL is a bandaid: putting one helper spring on a worn out pack isn't gonna do much good. My two Lincoln's: get new leaf packs- either with the faired lift, or OEM with an AAL or drop shackle.

Don't mean to steal the OP thread here but I'm going to be doing the same lift with my 96 XJ. I plan on getting the Old man Emu 2" leafs as well. But I was wondering if the type of spacers matter? I have been searching ebay and google for just two spacers. They are usually asking like 25-35 for the pair. I'm just wondering if the type of material matters? seems kind of sketchy that they are so cheap. Am I getting ripped off if I go with one of those?
call Dirk at DPG, i bought my OME lift through him and he has great prices and great customer service. if you have an extra hundred bucks you can burn you might want to look at OME 2" coils to compliment your rear leafs
i run them and they are far superior to stock springs, the jeep just feels better all around
