I’ve been looking to get new rims for my set of 30 in mud tires to put on my 2.5 BB. Is 2 in backspacing too little? I like the look of wide offsets and tires past the fenders. Would this harm anything? Also if anyone has pictures of 2-3 backspacing I’m curious to what it looks like. Thanks

I've never even seen rims offered or mentioned in 2-3" bs. Not saying they don't exist but...……………………………..
In fact the chart I reference to only goes down to 3.25"bs.
I'm running 15x7's with 4.25"bs on 235's and I'm barely outside the flares. If your tires are 15" ones 3.75" bs should suit you.
Less backspacing increases your scrub radius (the distance from the center of the tire to the steering axis) which has negative effects on the dynamics of how your jeep responds.. It will also put more strain on your power steering and ball joints.
With that said, it'll probably be fine. I wouldn't put 2" BS wheels on my Jeep but my 3.75" BS wheels probably aren't too much better.
i'm running 2.75 on my beadlocks, and for ****s and giggles, i threw on some 2 inch spacers. all this on 36 inch bias iroks that are 13.5 wide. been running that for about 5 years now. no more wear and tear than running 3.75 and 33x12.5s.

I don't know about 2"s but I'm running 2.5" with 35x12.50r15s. 15x8 3.75" pro comp wheels with 1.25" spacers for the last 2 years no issues and drives great
