1999 jeep cherokee xj
I have a 99 jeep cherokee xj and I believe I need to replace the fuel injectors. I have had a cylinder 3 and 6 misfire and a tune up ( plugs, plug wires, cap, rotor and full oil change) did not resolve the issue. I was told that the straight sixes are notorious for fuel injectors Gumming up and was told that they should be replaced. The jeep has 140,000 miles on it and the injectors have never been done. My question is what fuel injectors should I purchase? Are there ones that are better than others? And which ones will give me the most for my money, longer life and better performance

Thank you. Do you have an idea on pricing? And how easy are they to do yourself? I have my first child.on the way and I'm not willing to dump money into a shop or dealership if it's something I can do myself with a little research and ambition

You literally need a 10mm deep socket.
784 injectors are about $80 for all 6.
You should spend more time doing research if you can do maintenance yourself. Its more beneficial than asking questions that have been asked and answered a million times.
Good luck.
