Has anyone tried installing a Ford F-150 air filter housing on to a snorkel? My xj has a snorkel and no air filter housing, so it needs a filter and was wondering if I can use just the housing of the f150. I would just use the housing around the filter nothing else and would connect it to my snorkel inside the engine bay where the stock one goes. Heres a link of the housing im looking into, i would get it from a junkyard.

Why not just go to the junk yard and buy a oem air intake system ?And what snorkel is it,Is it a brand or home made out of pvc pipe?
