I currently have a 97 ZJ with a 42re trans, engine electronics have been removed and carb has been installed. Computer is D/C'ed and no good. Runs great, but need a non electronic trany to match it.

I want to install either a 42RH OR 44RH, transmission, will either of these bolt up?
Engine is a 4.0, and transfer case is a 231np

Also any ideas for a downer vehicle for a 42 or 44 RH tyranny?

ps this is only a mud bogger that runs in low lock, non road legal!
