1994 Grand Cherokee Lift on XJ????
Would a 4'' Grand cherokee lift work on a 1990 XJ? if so would it be a more like a 4.5 or 5 inch lift? I have the chance to get a lift for cheap and wanted to know if it would fit the xj before i spend the dough... Im sure the front would fit being that ive seen stock coils lift xj but not sure if back of Grand would fit it.. Thanks guys

I should prob get the brake line too while im at it... what do you guys think? what shocks do you guys run in your xj once you lift em? I use it as a DD but jump a few ditches when i go fishing and play a bit in mud nothing to extreme

The fronts will probably net about 5-6". You have leaf springs in the rear, so no point in the rear coils. If its worth it still, get the kit and sell what you do not use.
You will need new track bar, control arms and/or drop brackets, YJ brake lines etc.

I'm running the RC 8000 series shocks, Work just fine..and for 30$/ea Not bad deal.
PM Grimus and he'll hook you up. If I were to go with a better shock would be Bilstein 51xx series

i just got some of the new rough country 2.2 "performance" shocks...
the top ones are the new ones, bottom are the old skyjacker nitro 2000 or whatever... rides much much better with that large piston. I called the guy and got all 4 plus a stabalizer for 220 to fit a 6.5" lift...
i recomend them.. i was going to go with the blisten resivoir shocks but didnt want to dump 500$ lol
