Default 1991 Cherokee clutch problem

Hello all, im new to this forum, heres my issues:

I just bought a 1991 Cherokee, the guy I bought it from had replaced the engine with an engine from a 1994. The clutch slave was leeking, so I dropped the transmission and changed it. I also found that the wrong size pilot bearing was installed, so I had to have the pilot sleeve for the 94 machined so the 91 size pilot would fit. The 91 transmission input shaft is a smaller size then I assume the transmission on a 94. So I put it all back together with a new clutch kit for a 1991, now I cannot get the clutch to fully disengage the engine. The pedal is right off the floor, have also replaced the master cylinder, and tried every method of bleeding the clutch, to make sure that there is no air in it, still pedal is just off floor, and hard to shift gear. Do I need to install a clutch kit for a 94 Cherokee? Is there anything else that may need to be changed for this 91 transmission to work on this 94 engine?

Thank you in advance for your help.
