What’s my options for swapping the motor to maybe the inline 6 motor? Or are there better swaps?

To swap to a 4.0L you will need a donor vehicle. You will have to change just about everything including the transfer case. The best option is the Chevy 3.4L. That is pretty much a bolt in and can be gotten in various outputs depending on year. Speed parts are available also

Any idea what oil I need in my gearbox and transfer case? I want to change out all the boxes.

Yes a 3.4L would be good but I think I was reading about some one putting in a supercharged 3800 V6 if you can put in that engine that would be a good 200 HP or more .

Look up "thread hijacking", and learn some better manners.

Since you brought it up, yes a good swap but the expense and difficulty is right there with an LS1, which has about the same horsepower and much more common
