Awesome set ups and you guys gotta like my set up I have not run subs for a while I just turned 54 but once again my box design is for some one that wants real bass with out losing much space and yes this box is not competition it's 1.49 cu.ft. 1.25 + sub displacement sealed and 2.4 ported. I competed back i9m the 90's with old red and black cerwin vegas. So please don't turn this into a SPL competition thread. May be there should be one.

That's what I'm saying. Mine supposedly hit that with a 1200w amp. I guess it is cadence....

This is my set up. My dad built it. He is a professional loud speaker builder (more for home pro audio).
The Speaker is a Dayton 12". HERE
It is tuned for 20Hz and it hits way harder and louder than my buddies two 12" kicker comps. And it is only a 200w amp. but in reality is probably only 70w.
Most car audio stuff is played up a whole lot more than it really is. when they label an amp as 1000w it is really more like 150. people don't realize how much 1000 REAL watts is!

Your box up there looks pretty good! I was undecided between a ported box or a sealed box. but i decided that sense the sub was gonna be all the way in the trunk i wasn't going to hear the air moving out of the ports too much. so i went with a larger ported box.

Cool box your dad built you. Nice tie down strap. Yes dayton is good stuff and your amp is 200 watts rms bridged I had a shop and all the crunch power series amps are the same as hifonics titan the only difference is hifonics has rms rating insted of max. Your right my 1 12" DD hits way harder than two of many different brands of subs. Ported is the way to go unless you are listening to classical music. All bass musician's speaker cabinets are ported.

We compete. I was stating that 4 drivers to get a 153 is kinda of eh.

We were able to burp a 156 flat on the tl with 2 drivers. And that was with a mocked up enclosure.

i have two 12" Kenwood's in my Cherokee. I kept the box that they came it just made some covers out of 1 1/2" strap and expanded metal so they aren't going to get punctured. 600W Sony Xplod amp and cap with a sealed box.
