Trying to track down a few problems
1.my track bar is shot and need input on what to do next... build a new one or buy one for 8+ inches of lift
2. My steering is all over the road....everything is brand new steering wise drag link,pitman arm is super dropped,tie rod ends and new heavy duty stableizer thinking I might have to go with high steer to get a better angle

Any help is greatly appreciated thanks

Don't know most don't quite that high with a lift, what size tires are you running 38, 40's? I guess you have at least I ton steering don't you, IDK so will shut up and refer to a crawler for info. I'm lost here more info would help on what pieces you are using in the steering now.

I will get pictures up at some point tonight as for what Im running for sterring and tiers I have stock tie rod
And brand new "stock" drag link with rough country stabilizer and beefed up track bar with 35" mud tires

This is with 36" tsl super swampers 10 inch lift

 

If you cut the fenders you can lower it do to 6 inches and have a lot less problems.

Lowering it at least much will help you a lot in steering, MPG's and general driving with roll over chances.


Then at the "Very Least a tie rod setup from a mid 90's V-8 GC much stronger than stock, direct bolt-in and under a $100 at AutoZone. Or a 1 ton setup but a lot more money.


Are you running 4.56 or 4.88 gears in it now to turn those tires with lockers in both?


I think you have the same bumper that I have on mine.

 

 

It definitely does look like the same bumper! As for gears 4.10s front and rear no lockers and 2 piece axles eliminated the vacuum line

 

Christ on a cracker, did you buy it with the steering that jacked up. Either you lower her to a more acceptable range or you go with 1 ton OTK steering. There should be nothing stock steering on a jeep lifted like that

You drive this thing?

1. Your steering needs a serious makeover.

2. Your caster angle is way off and is most likely the largest contributing factor to the wandering. Not to mention the bald tires, insane steering angles and height to width ratio.

 

Right now I'm driving a different vehicle until I figure out steering and order new tires I know the caster angle is way off that's why I need to figure out something over the knuckle or something

 

the short arms are killing you too, even if the steering was tight, it would still ride like ****....

grab a dust boot while you are at it....
