hp d30 non disco w/ 4.10's and a 8.25 w/ 4.10's

8.25 a 27 spline or 29?

 

I think 650 is a lil high for stock axles with just 4.10s but hey thats just my opinion...

That is just your opinion, but how many 8.25's with 4.10's do you see just laying around or even up for sale? I bought these to put in my cherokee cause it was cheaper than to re-gear, however i had to spend all my rent to keep my rigs running and need the Cash to pay rent.

I drove almost all the way to portland to get the 8.25 cause it was the closest one i could find that someone was not trying to charge 500 for.

Im not sure of the spline, i didn't know ther were 2 differant ones?

also i need Cash, so no trades at this time.

 

By the way, just remembered if yoiu don't have the cash, I can also take a visa or mastercard cc!! Just have to add 3% the the $650 for machine fees, which =$669.50.

finding the spline count will help as there is a 27 and 29 spline and the 29 spline has more aftermarket support and is stronger....

 

so from what i have read now doing a little more research, it is a 27 spline but is as simple as adding 29spline axles and spiders due to it already has the bigger seals and axles, just the splines are diff.

all i know is all the 8.25's that had 4.10's that i could find in the state people wanted $500 for and i drove almost to portland to get one for less.
