Default RUBBER MOUNT
Can anyone tell me what the rubber mounting is over the rear axle on a Cherokee 2000 only mine has fallen off is it important or can I get by without renewing it .

Its a bump stop. It keep you suspension from bottoming out and damaging things. I'd say you could get by without one. If you're wheeling it though be careful. I'd replace when you have the means to do so.

Thanks for promt reply I think I had better replace if I can get a spare and get the nuts off the old holder, at least I know what i'm looking for now.
