The side molding and fender flares look like the older pre-'97 XJs. Seriously Jeep? Why can't you bring this back to the US....I'm sick of the freaking Patriots and Liberties

no **** im tired of these glorified minivans being badged as JEEP, its a shame chrysler as taken what was once the pioneer of 4x4 and reduced it to cup holders and heated seats catering to the yuppies that want the illusion of a 4x4 but dont want the characteristics of one

mind you the 2500 ended production in 2005 but still, IMO we got shafted in north america, EU had a panel van version XJ.....rear windows were just sheet metal and a solid floor instead of seats, not to mention the diesel engines that they got

It really is a shame that every model but the wranglers is incapable of any serious offroad. And Even those will probably be transformed into pavement cruisers before long.

I love Jeep, but the patriot has to be the ugliest SUV on the road these days...

there were a few guys in the local jeep club that wheeled the crap outta their commanders, and theres videos on youtube of the patriot[i think] bein wheeled pretty good same with the libbies but ya still wouldnt catch me owning one.
