Clean Cherokee's in NW Pa and E Oh are going for 5500-7500 :-/ I got mine for 3k with a few dents and scratches but it had no rust and ran strong so I could care less about pretty

Haha Pa cars have to pass a hell of an inspection and emissions test, and the biggest problem around here is the snow (salted roads), eats cars alive, I get my whole underside blasted with oil to help prevent rust, most Pa Cherokees have has their floorboards patched or replaced, and most of the wranglers '02 or earlier are on their second set of front fenders

I've been looking at a few jeeps for a bit to get, or a 4Runner or something else. This thread made me want an XJ even more. I'm already reading about what I can do to the XJ and I dont even have it yet. Should be picking up a year 2000 today or tomorrow.

 

A lot easier and cheaper to build. More after market support.
