I've only had my xj for a month and lift for about 3 days and every thing u listed sounds like me and my new xj habits Haha right on.

 

You know you drive an XJ when you actually read through all this nonsense arguing that takes away from the purpose of this thread just so you don't miss any actual posts! Flag it or PM the person but don't take away from the joy, just a personal thought.

You know you drive an XJ when you spend majority of your money on your project vehicle when your daily drive craps out and needs immediate repair... bicycle here I come...

i have had mine 2 years and still have not gotten around to fixing them...speaking of that.....

you know you drive an XJ when....

....you spend more on upgrades than fixing minor issues
....you would rather have a broke jeep sitting in the driveway than a running ricer
....your exhaust sets off car alarms
....you always have Duct tape, zip ties, electrical tape, fuses, jumper cables, sleeping bag, high lift, lug wrench, and junk food for a worst case scenario
....people stop in the road to ask if you were ok thinking you had an accident and you reply "I'm fine, just flexing out on this hill"

yupp pray you wouldn't have to use it but there if you needed it its also a good money maker

You ghetto rig your hood latch so it'll still open

you refuse to drive any other vehicle when your XJ is temporarily "out of commission"

Your friends say its a P.O.S. and you immediately tell them how much longer your XJ will last compared to their (insert car/truck model here)

 

You know you drive an xj when the carwash attendant hates you

your wife says your cheating on the driveway( ya thats my wife)

and when you keep thinking about buying parts with money you don't have yet.

and when you are constantly looking for other xjs while driving in the hopes that they share the same passion as you, but when you come across one that you can actually talk too they freak out and throw a shoe at you.( yes it happened tp me on the drive home from the purchase when I was full of excitement) I was really hurt. I just wanted to talk, in case your on this site.

 

Exactly! I just always call it plan b that way I don't run out of letters lol
I wrote this after I f*˘EUR#d up trying to cut and fold my quarter panels and just did the cut and no fold gonna have to fab up pans to close up the holes in my jeep lol
