I'm getting new leaf springs installed next week and the only part I couldn't find online was the bolts that go through the bushings in the leaf springs eyes. So I just called the dealership and they wanted 60 dollars for the 4 bolts and 4 nuts!!! That is ridiculous!!!! I bought my leaf springs for 75, and your telling me that 4 little bolts and nuts will cost almost as much a full leaf pack. Talk about a rip off. Does anyone know where I can get these cheaper, or know what size they are so I can get them at lowes or something? Thanks

Yup. I reused mine, and I haven't had any trouble. They are strong bolts so as long as they look good I see no reason to not reuse them.

Ok, thats cool, I'll just do that then. I just thought that that was an insane price, I could get all new shackles and bolts for that price

Yeah, you don't want to reuse the Ubolts....but the big bolts through the spring ends shouldn't be a problem. I reused mine and they are just fine.

I wanted to get new hardware for mine mostly because I'll be installing my lift and I hear they usually are frozen in place and need to get cut out... Does anyone have the size handy?

Don't have the size but hopefully you can get one of them out. You get one and the rest are the same size. Good luck

your local fastener store should be able to get you some grade 8 hardware. but as it was said, if it came out undamaged, you can reuse them...

Use the phone book and find a local spring shop, or even a Semi Truck repair shop they can make you custom U bolts for a fair price if you have the sizes.
Typically you don't reuse U bolts due to metal fatigue issues.

We are talking about the spring bushing bolts... I'll just hope mine come off undamaged cause it's a 1/2 hour drive to the nearest parts store. I'm trying to get everything I might need just so I don't end up driving back and forth.

I had to cut mine so I bought 6 nuts and bolts just in case at the dealer for $54. Only place I could find them.

However, this is the measurement you are looking for:

M14 - 2.0 x 120

The dealer gave me stock 9.8 (like a grade 5) but if buying the bolt at a fastener store with the measurement I gave you, get a 10.9 bolt (grade 8).
