I never really noticed until I got my own but, there are a crap load of XJ's shown in movies of all types.

The part that really burns my butt though, is that most of them end up getting crashed, blown up, flattened or otherwise mangled, at some point during the movie. Sometimes it makes me just want to cry, especially when I see a REALLY nice one get messed up and I think............."Damn, I would love to have that one!".

Not a movie, but in the first 6 seasons or so of The Office there is a nice 2 door out front.

 

JUST saw one today in "I am Number Four" Looked like a red lifted 2-door sitting in a driveway...but yes I never noticed them til I got one.
I also, think there was a pretty BA one in an episode of Walking Dead

 

Charmed...those three little hotties drove a XJ thru all seasons... Holly Marie Combs can put her stilletos under my bed any day

 

I remember seeing the one in The Walking Dead. From what they showed it looked nice.

Terminator 3, in the hanger before taking off, Schwarzenegger trashes a Cherokee.

 

The sheriff on Eureka drove one all through the series, that thing had to be trashed several times in that show. Even had a great animated episode where it talked lol.

 

In the movie gone in 60 seconds ... Great movie in my opinion... Pretty sure a police xj gets smashed by a wrecking ball thru a wall pretty sad for the truck but but bad*** scene haha

 

Seriously! It's a manual too! With a sunroof! Best XJ movie ever.
