you can take the box off an mj so it would seam much easyer and more practical... and if yo just want the 4 doors, well thats not much room for a utility box on the back,,, whats your plan?

i would just use a comanche, since they're the exact same from the front seats forward. well, for a 4 door xj anyways.
unless you want the 4 doors, but as mentioned, you won't have much room for the box when you cut.
or if you use a 2 door, those have longer doors, so you will have the room behind the front seats to leave enough metal....
just use a comanche, half your work is done. otherwise, it's months of trial and error, because if you knew what you were doing, you wouldn't have asked.

chop is a lot of work. i didnt start the chop on mine but i did finish it.
i bought it with body cracks everywhere. The body flexs soooo much. Cage is a must.... aswell as unibody plating and thats just to start.
