Default XJ springs question

Hey all. So let me start by giving some info. I have 2 xjs. The one that I have a question about is my 1999 jeep cherokee sport. I got it about a year ago. The leaf springs were a little saggy, not alot and my buddy had a budget lift he had of about 1.5 inches. I used the shackles to keep my springs alive a little longer. Well it's time for replacing. Here is where I'm stuck. I wouldn't mind going back to stock. But I do like the tad bit of extra lift and clearance. I know zj coil springs give about an inch over xj coils but what about leaf springs? The final thing I was considering was the 2 inch old man emu lift. I like the stock look so idk. What do you guys think? Go back to stock, splurge on ome, or another route. Links would greatly help if you have any. Thank you.

I just don't know if I really want a lift considering the rear ome springs give 3 inches of lift. Basically defeats the purpose of the stock look. I really would just prefer a 1 inch or so lift if possible.

I'm looking at the website and I see quite few of their leaf springs for xjs that say heavy duty so I'm not sure which ones they are. While looking, I see they have new shackles. I have the original ones but would I be better off buying new ones as well?

Waste of money if the factory ones are in good condition.

In all of the larger towns and cities there should be custom spring shops that make leaf springs to order for anything, I have used them for years on my trucks cheaper than stock and of equal or higher quality than stock.

Another option is to call Rustys Off Road and ask what their 3" full leaf spring would give you with a leaf removed. His leafs and coils are all made in NA and excellent quality.

As far as I know no one makes the true "Up Country Springs" any more for an XJ, I do have that pkg. on my 04 WJ.
